“Spritual Peanut Butter? You know it!"

Yes, we’re collecting peanut butter and baby formula for earthquake victims in Haiti. Last week two high school students challenged our congregation to collect, quite literally, a “ton of peanut butter.” Lifeline Christian mission (Westerville) usually seeks to collect 75,000 jars during a “normal” year. Imagine the needs in Haiti now!

Peanut butter is a terrific source of protein – that essential nutrient lacking in the lives of people in Haiti. We learn as children that protein helps us grow strong, build muscles, and stay healthy.

The same is true about the Bible. Jesus recalls that man is not to live on “bread alone,” but on the words of God. The Bible is the source of spiritual protein –nourishment and strength for our lives!

If your body doesn’t get enough protein, you won’t stay strong. See the connection?

If your soul, heart, and mind aren’t “eating regularly” from the Bible, then your life and relationships are at risk!

At Grace we seek to learn from God’s Word every day of the week and twice on Sunday!

Sermons are rooted in Scripture, and we encourage you to bring your Bible and take notes! If you don’t have a Bible, we’d love to give you one!

Adult Bible Electives can help you learn more from God’s Word. The “Truth Project” starts today and talks about the Bible’s most important issues. Next week, we begin a Sunday morning class on the New Testament book of James – a great, practical book on the Christian Life!

You’re always free to feed yourself from God’s Word, too. Don’t miss your weekly or daily opportunities to dig in and eat from God’s word. When we neglect that regular “protein” it surely puts our health and lives at risk!
